In accordance with New York State’s Phase 3 Guidelines, we will be reopening in July. As I am part of a “vulnerable population” rest assured that I will take every step necessary to ensure a safe transition.
For the time being masks will be required. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the house and alternate seating arrangements will be available for breakfast. The cleaning and disinfecting will be even more thorough for all surfaces. For those of you who really want to social distance, this may be a good time to check out the Botticelli apartment, which has its own kitchen and its own entrance.
I have been doing a whole lot of landscaping during quarantine, so the outdoor areas are especially lovely. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can spend most of the summer outdoors!
Most of the wineries will be opening mid-June. They too will be looking a little different: group size will be limited and reservations will be required. Also, masks must be worn and a lot of tastings will be seated and/or outside.
Restaurants are now take-out only but that hopefully will change too before too long. Everyone is learning as we go so we will all just have to be patient and flexible. I know we’ll all figure it out. I miss you and I know you miss the Finger Lakes!
Please call/email if you have questions. Things change quickly so I will try to stay as updated as possible.
Hope to see you all very soon.
I told you things change quickly! As of June 4th, restaurants and wineries are allowed to serve guests outside. These openings look different for each business, so check with individual places for their protocol (Or contact me and I’ll find out for you.) I’ll keep you posted!
